Day 4: AREQUIPA - PUNO (Free morning to walk by Arequipeña streets)

12:15pm approximately, we will board the bus to move to the city of Puno.
7:30pm approximate arrival in the city of Puno, reception at the bus station and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5: PUNO: SLEEPING IN UROS - FLOATING ISLANDS OF TITICACA LAKE

On this day, we will have the wonderful experience of spending the night in Uros, free of pollution, noise and relaxing located 30 minutes from the city of Puno, spend the night and family together on the floating islands of the Uros.
The rooms in this magical place are built as the whole island based on reeds overlooking the lake, hardwood floor and decorated and implemented with fabrics and crafts, to sleep in Uros with comfortable mattresses with cushions decorated with textiles.
The excursion starts at 07:45am with transportation from your hotel to the port. From there we go to the floating islands of Uros. We see 2 of the 60 islands, go inside the house and trips in traditional boats made of cane can be organized. After a 3 hour boat trip we arrive at the island Amantani. On arrival, you may see local families running down the hill towards you.
There you will meet the family designated to host you that night. With them, you will have a typical lunch made of natural products. During the afternoon, you will be able to do some inter-cultural activities until dinnertime. After dinner, you will see a very typical show of the locals.
You will spend the night in this wonderful place, the next day you will be able to taste the exquisite typical breakfast of the place, and then you will leave the rooms and return to the city of Puno.
Our native rural lodging to sleep in Uros has reception the 24 hours, restaurant, garden, bar, counter of tourist information, for Keeps baggage and sample of crafts.
Day 6: PUNO - CUSCO (SUN ROUTE)

You will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the bus station in the Terrestre terminal in Puno
Our tour to Cusco will last 10 hours approximately.
Where we will have 4 excursions and guided visits to the most interesting places of the south of the altiplano visiting the temple of Andahuaylillas or Sistine Chapel of America, the Inka temple of Raqchi, the pass of La Raya at 4335 meters above sea level and the Inka Aymara museum of Pukara. Each visit lasts from 20 to 40 minutes, where you can ask questions, take pictures and explore the attractions of the place, making this an unforgettable experience.
We will arrive in Cusco at 4:30pm, be picked up from the bus station and be transferred to the hotel where we will spend the night

Day 7: CUSCO: CITY TOUR + 4 NEARBY RUINS

Our transfer will visit you at your hotel to take you to the starting point of your tour, between 13:00 hrs. and 13:30 hrs. The tour starts at the Cathedral of Cusco, decorated with fine carved woodwork and impressive altars and beautiful paintings, made by the hands of local artists from the Cusco School, who keep hidden elements of indigenous thought.
Then we will take a short walk through the streets of the historical center towards the Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun considered an indigenous religious sanctuary. Where we will appreciate the fine work of lithic technology made by the Incas, with the highest level of cutting in hard stone without being able to insert a sheet of paper and that in spite of the earthquakes remain stable to date. After the visit to the Qoricancha we will board the bus that will take us to Sacsayhuaman located 3km. from the city of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman offers us a panoramic view of the city of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman was built with large blocks of limestone weighing from 25 to 130 tons. It is integrated by three terraces superimposed in a serpentine form (zigzag).
We will also arrive at Qenqo, which means labyrinth, is located one kilometer from Sacsayhuaman, establishes a construction based on limestone that shows stone sculpture in 500 mts2 accompanied by structures that according to historians served for the study of astronomy, religion and embalming and / or mummification.
Then we will know Puca Pucara: coming from two Quechua words that mean Puca (red) Pucara (fortress) "red fortress", strategic place for control and surveillance of access and exit of the Imperial city of Cusco, which was used as a territorial border to divide the regions and establish the regimes of displacement.
Finally, we will visit Tambomachay: a resting place, located 9 km from the city of Cusco, better known as the Baths of the Inca because of the water sources, or also known as the waters of eternal youth because of the constant flow of its waters, which offers us part of the Inca trail that goes from Cusco to Machupicchu. This city tour in the city of Cusco ends at 6:30 pm approximately near the Plaza de Armas.

Day 8: FULL DAY WILLOQ + connection to Aguas Calientes.

Enjoy and live, the customs and Inca traditions of the community of Willoq and Patacancha, planting, sewing, cooking and have fun with their typical dances.

After enjoying an exquisite breakfast. We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 6:00 am in the direction of Ollantaytambo (living Inca city), there we will make a brief stop to visit the city, and the tour begins at 06:00 in Cusco and ends around 19.00h (full day)
Learn, interact, share the customs and traditions of this Inca community, planting, sewing, cooking and having fun with their typical dances Willoq, is an indigenous community of the Andes, located in the valley of the Patacancha River, belonging to the district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba, Cusco.
It is rich in flora and fauna, being able to find 60 species of birds and more than 700 species of plants. In Willoq there is still a direct descent from the last Incas, which can be corroborated by the current surnames of the local people, like Yupanqui, Sinchi, Pukha, Huamán, Cusipáucar, Tupha, among others.
Located to 14 km of Ollantaytambo, once in Willoq our friends of the place will receive us with a welcome drink (mate of coca or muña) and their folkloric dance, immediately they will show us and they will share their customs and traditions and daily activities (textile shop, agriculture, gastronomy, etc...) the approximate duration of the activity is of about 3 to 4 hours, next we will have a typical lunch of the place and after a rest and some coexistence, we will return to Ollantaytambo to take the train toward Aguas Calientes
Once we arrive in Aguas Calientes, our staff will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel.

Day 9: AGUAS CALIENTES: EXCURSION TO MACHUPICCHU- CUSCO

Pick up from hotel 05:00 am.
Very early in the morning we will board the bus to Machu Picchu. At the archaeological site, we will immerse ourselves in the enigmatic beauty and incomparable Inca engineering perfection of the site, which has made it one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. We will have a 2-hour guided tour accompanied by a specialist guide who will explain the history of the site.
After the tour, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. There, you will have time for lunch before we have to take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our tourist class transportation will be waiting to take us back to the city of Cusco.
10:30 pm arrival in Cusco.
