Peru 14 Days/13 Nights

This package is aimed at those willing to see all the main attractions that Peru has to offer. The start point is the capital city of Lima. From here we will travel to visit the Little Galapagos (Ballestas Islands) and the oasis town of Huacachina, We will continue the trip to Nazca where we will fly over the enigmatic Nazca lines, from there we travel towards the city of Arequipa and visit the Colca Canyon. The next stop will be Puno and the highest commercially navigable lake; Titicaca Lake, thereafter we head to the imperial city of Cusco and provide 2 options to get to know Cusco. Finally, the highlight of our trip; the new modern wonder of the world: We visit Machupicchu and then return to Lima.

HIGHLIGHTS: Lima, Islas Ballestas, Huacachina, Nazca lines, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Puno, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, and Machupicchu.

Inca Trail 4 days - Intipunku


Day 1

Arrival in Lima; upon your scheduled arrival our Receptionist will be waiting for you at the arrival area. After the greeting and introduction we will then proceed to transfer you to the designated hotel. Once you have been briefed and checked in and depending on the time of your arrival, you can take this time to walk around and get to know the vicinity or just relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 2

City tour of Lima, the places that we will visit include Huaca Pucllana, which was a ceremonial and administrative Pre-Incan building, the Cathedral of Lima, Francisco Pizarro’s Tomb, the catacombs of the San Francisco Monastery and more. Also we will get to see the modern neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores with its beautiful boardwalks along the coast.

Following the city tour, we will get ready to indulge into an exceptional gastronomic experience; Musiculinaria awaits us. Lima is considered the gastronomic capital of South America. Needless to say a visit to Lima without experiencing its cuisine would be unthinkable. This is why we will head to the bohemian district of Barranco and inmerse ourselves in the atmosphere of this part of town, walk through the”bridge of the sighs” and other attractions nearby. After that we will see a “Huarique Limeño”. In this restaurant we will have the opportunity of tasting amazing typical dishes and desserts all of this while enjoying a fabulous artistic show that combines the music with the gastronomy during their preparations.

Day 3

Very early in the morning (4.00 am) we will transfer you to the bus that will take you to Paracas. The ride takes about 3 and a half hours after which we will take a speedboat to discover the Islas Ballestas (Little Galapagos). We will see the “candelabro” and then head to the Islands where we will see plenty of birds native to the area and sea lions, we will explore the three islands from a safe allowed distance.

After the tour we will continue our trip to Ica we will stop for lunch on the way and visit a pisco distillery to taste some pisco and wine. Late in the afternoon we will arrive to te oasis of huacachina. Here we will get in a sand buggy and have a ride on the dunes of the area and practice sandboarding …all of this while seeing how the sun goes down!!!

We take you to the hotel in this picturesque oasis where you can enjoy the night life.

Day 4

We start our trip to Nazca in the morning. It is about two and a half hour drive from Ica. We arrive to the local airport of Nazca from where we will fly over the enigmatic Nazca lines, the duration of the flight is of about 30 minutes and in this time we will be able to see the gigantic figures (some around 100 meters long) like the monkey, the spider, the condor and many more others. The enigmatic about this lines is that no one knows for sure who build this lines and for what purpose.

Once done with the flight, we will continue our bus ride to the city of Arequipa (about 10 hours). Transfer to the hotel upon arrival.

Day 5

This day is just dedicated to you…Enjoy the day and relax or plan some activities….it is completely up to you.

Day 6

You will be picked up from your hotel by a private bus in the morning. The bus will stop at many different points of interest on the way to the final destination of Chivay. The first stop will be at the national reserve of Aguada Blanca where we can observe vicuñas and also the other sides of some famous volcanoes such as the Misti, Chachani and Picchu Picchu. We will continue through the highest pass of our trip; patapampa located at over 4800 masl . From here we can appreciate the volcanoes Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca and Mismi. Finally we approach the town of Chivay with its beautiful scenery. After lunch you can visit the local market or indulge yourself in one of the many hot springs. In the evening you can return to your hotel.

Day 7

After breakfast we will head to the “Cruz del Condor” view terrace, here we can enjoy the views of the canyon and if we are lucky we can observe the majestic flight of the condors through the canyon. After we will make short trek visiting the nearby villages of this area, we return to the town of Chivay where after lunch we will board our bus to Puno. Along the road we will make some stops to take pictures of the beautiful sites. We will drive trough the Altiplano to finally reach Puno. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival of the bus.

Day 8

Early in the morning we will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the harbor so that you can take the motorboat and embark yourself on a travel to the past.

Our first stop will be the Floating Island of Uros which is a short distance away from the harbor. Here we will step on the floating islands and visit the community of the Uros. They will explain us the process of how they have managed to live in this islands for hundreds of years. They will show us how they make sure that the Islands stay afloat by exchanging the totora reeds.

We then continue our tour to the Island of Taquile which is about an hour and a half away. Once we arrive to Taquile we get to admire their ancient weaving techniques and other textile manufacturing skills. This is one of the few natural islands on the lake. It is worth mentioning that the Island is under UNESCO protection as humankind’s intangible heritage. Lunch will be served and enjoyed in this fantastic scenery.

We then return to Puno harbor in the afternoon while enjoying the amazing sunset on our way back. Transfer to hotel upon arrival.

Day 9

We will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the bus station where we will take a full day bus ride to the imperial city of Cusco. In this trip we will make several stops to visit the local attractions of each stop, first we will stop in Pucara and visit the “Museo de piedra de pucara”. We then will make a stop at la Raya (4400 masl) and enjoy the majestic mountains and awesome landscape of the area, we will then make a lunch stop at Sicuani and enjoy the local views. Back on the road our next stop will be the temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi. This temple was dedicated to the main Inca deity; Wiracocha. Finally we will stop at the beautiful church of Andahuaylillas which is called the “Sixtine Chapel of South America” for the opulent decoration of the interiors.

Once we arrive to Cusco, we will transfer you to your hotel.Once we arrive to Cusco, we will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 10

This day is just dedicated to you…Enjoy the day and relax or plan some activities….it is completely up to you.

Day 11

Tour a la carte.
Two options are available:

Option A: Sacred Valley tour and transfer to Machupicchu

Option B: One day Inka trail to Machupicchu

Day 12

They say that part of a life of Journeys around the world includes a mandatory visit to Machupicchu. Early morning after breakfast you will start your incredible experience at one of the new marvels of the world; Machu Picchu. The two Hour guided tour will take you to some of the most important landmarks in Machupicchu like the Main Square, Intihuatana, the temple of the Sun, Temple of the three windows, and the temple of the Condor to mention only a few of them. After the guided tour, you will have plenty of time to explore the citadel all by yourself. We return late in the afternoon via train to Cusco and subsequently we will take you to your hotel.

Day 13

After breakfast we will transfer you to the airport in the morning for your flight to Lima. Once you arrive to Lima one of our Representatives will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to make some last arrangements or visits to the many attractions that Lima has to offer.

Day 14

We will arrange the pickup from your hotel depending on the time of your flight’s departure.
