Luxury Cusco & Machu Picchu with Hiram Bingam Train

Often referred to as the ‘Archaeological Capital of the Americas’ Cusco is a beautiful city riddled with contrasts between the indigenous styles and the modern western world. It is these contrasts that have given Cusco its rare beauty. Visitors to this magnificent Inca fortress, which overlooks the city of Cusco, cannot fail to be impressed by the beauty and monumental scale of this important Inca construction. Sacsayhuaman can be variously translated as the”speckled head” of the puma overlooking Cusco.

Cusco’s San Pedro Market market is a must-see. You will be entertained for hours. Tasty fresh produce juice bars to die for exotic and traditional food. Meat stalls, Pig heads for caldo (soup), frogs (to enhance sexual performance), roast lechón (suckling pig) and tamales are just a few of the foods on offer. Around the edges are typical clothes, spells, incense and other rare products.

This is the best itinerary to enjoy Cusco & Machu Picchu at its finest!! Travel on the exclusive and luxurious Belmond Hiram Bingham train and enjoy the elegant dining car, the bar car and observatory, where you can take in the unmatched scenery in the open air while sipping on a traditional Peruvian cocktail and listening to live local music.

Start your experience off with a welcome cocktail. Once aboard, the maître will invite you to a brunch and gourmet lunch. The return trip includes a fine dining experience at dinner. In both cases, you can accompany your meals with beverages (non-premium) and an excellent wine selection.
